Angus graduated from New York’s French Culinary Institute where he worked under culinary greats including Jacques Pépin, Alain Sailhac, André Soltner, and Jean-Georges. Angus went on to train under Chef Normand Laprise at Montréal’s Toqué before moving to London where he worked at Michelin-starred restaurants The Ledbury and The Fat Duck. He followed with work at Chef David Thompson’s famed Nahm. He currently owns and manages the award winning Maenam, Longtail Kitchen, and Freebird Chicken Shack in Vancouver, BC.
