Jason began his career at Seattle’s classic Le Gourmand. In college he spent a semester abroad and worked with Chef Charles Walpole at Avenue One. He went on to work for Holly Smith at Cafe Juanita. Returning to Seattle, Jason joined Spinasse to further the restaurant’s perspective on the Piedmont region of Italy. Jason was named one of Food & Wine’s 10 Best New Chefs in 2010. He's since opened Aragona, a James Beard semifinalist for Best New Restaurant in 2014 and is now at Mamnoon. He is a cheftestant on the current season of Top Chef.
