Maya got her first big break at Orson, where she worked closely with Chef Elizabeth Falkner on a constantly changing dessert menu. Afterwards she brought her talents to AQ and Mélange Market, where she was responsible for all baked goods. Zagat has her on the 30 Under 30 Best Young Innovative Chefs and Food and Wine nominated her for Best New Pastry Chef. She is currently at one Michelin-starred Lazy bear in San Francisco.
