Growing up in Thailand, Nong learned all about food from her mom. She came to the United States in 2003 with just two suitcases and $70. She worked first as a waitress, and then opened a food cart. She now operates three carts, a catering business, and a restaurant. You can also find her addictive khao man gai sauce in most stores around town or online. Nong won Food Network's Chopped in her first appearance and was invited back to Compete on Chopped: Impossible where she narrowly missed out on a second crown.
