After graduating from the CIA, troy was named one of the top 10 culinary students by Food & Wine magazine. He worked at Alice Waters’ Chez Panisse before moving to Portland. Troy spent time at Ned Ludd, Simpatica, Laurelhurst Market, Lovely Hula Hands, and Grain and Gristle. he opened Bollywood Theater in 2012 and The restaurant was named The Oregonian’s Rising Star. Its dishes have garnered acclaim from Sunset Magazine, The LA Times, Bon Appétit, and Portland Monthly. MacLarty has since opened a second location.
